Everything You Should Know About Vijay Eswaran

 

His Background Information

Vijay Eswaran is the founder and executive chairman of the QI Group of Companies. He was born in Penang, Malaysia. His family originated from India. He attended higher education in London and Illinois. Because his family wasn’t stable financially, he worked as a taxi driver to fund his accounting and management education. After graduating, he was hired by several companies in North America and South-East Asia as an information system engineer. In 1998, Eswaran established a direct selling network in the Philippines because Asia was under a financial crisis. He combined both direct selling and e-commerce that finally gave birth to QNET within a year. His company experienced fast growth such that after a few years of operation, it had dominated the direct selling network in the Middle East. Today, the company has extended its operation into Africa.

 

Entrepreneurship

Even though Vijay Eswaran is not directly involved in QNET’S operations, he holds motivational, training, and networking events. Because he craved to administer multiple investments like real estate, education, retail, and hospitality, he established the QI Group of companies. This enabled him to diversify his business interests. This group is the most prominent in today’s market because it has hired more than 1500 workers. In addition to that, the group has trained and empowered millions of entrepreneurs across the world.

 

His Books and Awards

Eswaran has a passion for mentoring entrepreneurs. In 2011, he partnered with the local government to form Quest International University Perak. The university’s mandate is to provide quality, research-based, and affordable education. In 2017, the university had more than 1600 students from 31 different countries. For him to continue empowering entrepreneurs globally, he has written six different books since 2005. His first book is called In the Sphere of Silence. He has received several awards and honors from the Global Organization for People of Indian Origin.
