First impression
When I first met Angela, I thought she was a selfish, unsociable, easy to anger and stubborn person. I had greeted her while smiling and in a tender manner, but she had responded coldly, her eyes staring at me questioningly, while her fingers were trotting on the student table. I had felt disappointed and almost moved away from her. Luckily, she had enquired what I wanted, though in a chilly voice, that I had thought showed disinterest. I had then summoned my courage and asked her to show me the principle’s office. She had then asked me to follow me, and with no words, took me to the office, pointed it with a finger and turned back without even giving me a chance thank her. However, two days later, Angela had come to me, greeted me by and apologized for her unfriendly behaviour. She explained on that day, her mother was unwell and in the hospital undergoing surgery, and the anxiety of the operation’s outcome had put her into an emotional breakdown. While explaining what had made her behave indifferently, she had an amazing smile on her face, seeing me looking at her blankly, she had burst into laughter, promised to meet me later in the day, and left. I could not believe that she was the same person I had taken with a wrong impression. I had realized that she was a happy soul, friendly, understanding, and selfless.
