The murals on the east wall represent two women, one on the left with golden hair holding grains and one on the right with black hair holding fruits. These are the symbol of North and South America which are productive in different ways. Between the two murals, an infant is developing in a plant plum which indicates the beginning of a new life. Riviera was emphasizing on agriculture as an initial form of technology. The murals are impressive because they depict how productivity defers in different regions. The murals on the west wall focus on the impacts of technology. The Ford Motors Company are producing both fighter and passenger planes which serves both as violence accelerator and mode of transportation. Below the fighter plane, there is a hawk a symbol of war while on the passenger train, a dove symbolizing peace. The middle mural is a long panel describing the agrarian technology in South America and industrialization in North America. At the centre, there is a half skull half living which depicts both life and death. The murals show Interconnectivity of South and North America and how their operations rely on each other.
The murals on the south wall depict the production process, assembling of motors by Ford Company. The white race is responsible for raw materials for making steel while the yellow race is responsible for making glass. Riviera uses women as part of labour. In the north wall, the Red race represents the first race in America associated with iron ore for producing steel. The Black race is associated with coal, with the labour they provide in the manufacturing of steel. The side panels’ murals show the manufacture of poisonous gas which affects human cells, and later a vaccination which saves humanity.
The north wall central section murals show workers in the production and manufacturing process of an engine and its transmission. Riviera uses his image as a spectator among the workers. The predella panels contain murals that describe the workers’ daily schedule and a manufacturing process in a factory environment.
