FREE MARKET
The free market economy can solve more problems better than politicians because when the government allows the market to adjust the situation that arises, the outcome will always be better than policies introduced by the government to solve the same problem. The government has its place in making the economy better, and there are specific fields that it provides better services, but if more issues have to be solved, the free market does a better job.
According to Ronald Reagan, “We who live in free-market society believe in growth.” It has made citizens more innovative in coming up with new products to solve the daily problems of citizens (Carter, 2019).
Products produced in the free market are better, and prices are also affordable. The government does not have their money, and the money they use to come up with new policies obtained from individuals through tax collection. When deciding on how to solve a specific problem that exists in the market, they do not have any incentives to motivate them to make better decisions since ‘their money” is not involved (Carter, 2019 P. 934).
A system that allows voluntary buying, selling, and trading will experience problems with individuals making bad and reckless decisions, but when the states make decisions affecting the market, everyone feels the pinch and affects everyone involved in trading. The free market is superior in efficiency and security to any government. As long as human beings are always creative, resourceful, and moral, there will not be huge problems that may make the market collapse since almost every challenge approached in manners that will give solutions (Carter, 2019).
However, there is a need to have some limited government regulations that will ensure that the economy of a country does not collapse. This is by providing that criminals d not start monopolies and gain tremendous powers that destabilize the government. Reagan tried much to cut on taxes, and he claimed that “no new taxes introduced,” and hence he found himself in an awkward position trying to balance the economy (Carter, 2019).
Politicians do not get into many problems because they have almost everything provided for by the government. They are not used in overcoming adversities and, therefore, not used in making quick and effective decisions to solve their daily problems.
