George Washington Bridge
Introduction
George Washington Bridge is a bridge which is a suspension of double-decked across the river Hudson joining through the road connections both the city of New Jersey and New York. The bridge was named after the United States first president George Washington; it is the busiest world bridge motor vehicle which ferries over 100 million people every year. The ownership comes from the New Jersey and New York port authority; these are agencies of bi-state government that helps in infrastructure operation both in New Jersey and New York. The bridge is also known as the George, GW, GWB, and during the construction, it was known as the river Hudson or Bridge of Fort Lee. The aim of studying George Washington Bridge is to establish its history, the roads that it was connected to, and the incidences which took place after the construction of the bridge. This is done through proper research on how the bridge started and the main aim for its development.
