Compare and contrast gods and spirits. How are they similar and different?
A god is a spirit that is typically worshipped for having power over nature; on the other hand, spirit refers to a supernatural being, for instance, a ghost. The two differ in that a god is something that is worshipped by people; for instance, they bow their heads and worship and pray to it, asking for their needs. However, a spirit is not worshipped. It is a persona that shapes people’s actions. Another difference is that gods usually have a large following, while spirits do not. This is because a spirit can be that of a dead person who will only be relevant to those that knew the person. One of the commonalities is that both of them are supernatural.
