Health

Health is a complex issue and their multiplicity of factors influencing health and wellbeing. However, the age, sex and hereditary factors can hugely influence the health and wellbeing (McKay et al., 2014). Similarly, health is partly influenced by individual lifestyle factors, such as physical activity, smoking pattern and diet. While there is a huge relationship between friends, family and significant others within the local community are equally determinant of health. Similarly, the working and living conditions, such as employment, housing and healthcare service access can equally influence health and wellbeing of people. Additionally, health and wellbeing can be influenced by socio-economic, cultural and environmental factors, such as policy change, shifts in welfare systems, economic development and social forces and structure. On the other hand, the community places an important role in the determination of health, as some of the health and wellbeing issues might be related to the community. For instance, the current Coronavirus pandemic is location-specific and the need to curb it must be evaluated based on specific locations. With the multiplicity of factors influencing health and wellbeing, it is crucial to consider all these issues when evaluating the health of individuals.
