Chocolate displays several health benefits as a result of consumption. Therefore there has been a rise in demand for Chocolate by people willing to benefit from effects tied on its consumption. However, one common challenge is that chocolates are often few in the market, and thus the demand is not met. Therefore, companies should work towards meeting consumer demand in the market by making sure there are enough chocolates in their outlets over the world to serve consumers. Chocolate is also expensive to buy from the outlets where it is sold because of its uniqueness and loads of benefits tied upon its consumption. Therefore, the company producing Chocolate should implement cost strategies that will cause an effect on the price of the Chocolate, and hence more people will afford to purchase. Also, another challenge that most people encounter is the low quality of Chocolate. This has been brought about by competitors who manufacture Chocolate that is of low quality, and hence some components that bring forth health benefits are often omitted. Therefore, companies producing Chocolate should put in place the right marketing strategies to ensure that their products are easily identified by consumers worldwide.
Besides, consumers of chocolates should be aware of the cons of excess intake of Chocolate. Chocolate intake in high quantities can lead to obesity, high blood pressure and other chronic diseases. Another health effect of Chocolate is teeth decay as a result of excess sugars. Consumers are therefore advice to regularly visit a dentist for checkup and maintain the basic dental hygiene practices to avoid facing the consequences of excess chocolate intake. Research also indicates that a high intake of Chocolate could also cause addiction. Addiction is mostly common to children who consume Chocolate regularly. Therefore, parents should monitor their children on the amount of Chocolate they consume.
