Introduction
Globally there are so many religions ranging from Christianity, Islamism, atheism, Hinduism, and traditional Chinese religion. All these religions command a considerable number of followers globally. However, Hinduism remains one of my personal beliefs of them all due to the uniqueness in the doctrine, which isn’t in other world religions. Some of this uniqueness that makes Hinduism my favorite religions is in their worship system, castle system, and their way of life, sacred texts in addition to customs of beliefs.
Hinduism worship system
Worshiping in the Hindus often involves praying to more than one God for various intentions, and the traditional temples called Mandir to constitute the sacred places of worship. Usually, the temples are regarded as places for communal worship since many Hinduism believers and followers have shrines in their homes where they do their worshiping. This kind of worship systems makes Hinduism my favorite religion since one have personal time with the secrecy it deserves to connect with your God deeply. During the prayers in the Hindus religion, the chanting of mantras makes one feel an enlightened and deeper connection to your maker. Some of the Gods who Hindus offer their prayer petitions include Brahma commonly referred to as God the creator, another god is Vishnu, and this God incarnates in the form of ten avatars. Other gods include Krishna, Rama, and God Shiva. This existence of many gods with various functions enables you to know the right God to offer a particular prayer.
Hindus Caste System
Just like in any society, there exists a structured system that allows organization and order in the community. The same is applicable in Hinduism, where the caste system meant to organize the Hindus religion into orderly worship structurally. Hindus believe that the caste system came from the founder of the faith that is Aryans. Besides, the caste system is divided into four categories Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaisyas, Sudra, and Dalits. This categorization depends on the occupation of an individual and also the wealth they had. Also, a priest who ranked high in the castle systems held a unique position in the spiritual hierarchy.
Hindus beliefs and way of life
The Hindus way of life is one of the most interesting in the world, and their dietary comprises various cuisines that promote a natural lifestyle. Further, their perception of life is motivated by nature and making the majority of them to lead a vegetarian kind of lifestyle. Moreover, in Hinduism, there exist four essential duties in one’s life, and they include righteousness, often referred to as Dharma, prosperity also termed Artha, pleasure, and love also called the Kama and lastly religious views and freedom (Moksha).
In summary, Hinduism is one of my favorite religions in the world simply because religion exhibits uniqueness in its way of worship and life. Also, the uniqueness in the caste systems allows for order and peace in the Hindus structure of prayer. Hence, making this religion appeal to many followers globally.
