How many steps did it take you to complete the activity?

Description of activities: My best hobby is playing saxophone for a local music band.

The band performs in various events throughout the year. These events require that we do a lot of practice in order to perform exceptionally.

The events required that we dress in band uniform. Below is a description of the steps I took before and after in an attempt to improve on the amount of time taken for each step.

  1. How many steps did it take you to complete the activity?

I go through 10 steps from waking up to getting to the event.

The event started at 8 am, requiring that I get there at around 7.30 am. Practicing regularly is important so as to save some time in the morning while preparing with the band.

  1. What time did each step take, and how much time was delayed between times?

Comparing the time I spent in each activity while preparing for my first event and now, there is a difference because I have been able to save on time by preparing prior to the event date.

  1. What was the average time each attempt took?

I used 102 minutes to get to the event during my first event and 39 minutes to get to the event during my second event. Comparing my first event to my second, there was a reduction of 63 minutes from the time I woke up to the time I got to the event.

  1. Differentiate the main actions between doing and improving your activities?

In the first event I participated, I consumed a lot of time preparing for the event, and I was not aware of what is supposed to be done in terms of preparing for an event. In my second event, I used less time to prepare because I did most of these activities on the day prior to the event.

  1. Determine the overall manner in which variations have affected your activities?

The standard deviation for the two events is 7.613 and 4.725 minutes, respectively. The calculation of the standard deviation is used to show how the observed times vary from the meantime.

  1. Overall, how much time were you able to cut down on when engaging in the same activity while implementing the new changes?

I was able to cut down the time I spent by 63 minutes.

Name of activity: Getting ready for music event upon waking up
