Reasons to use a VPN
- Public networks
There is no need to worry about your security and privacy if you are using your private home network. However, if you are using a public Wi-Fi network, it is recommended to use a VPN.
- Monitoring
Another reason why you should use a VPN is to prevent the monitoring of your data by internet service providers (ISPs) and third-party companies. Some of them even monitor your activities without consent, infringing your privacy.
- Access blocked sites
A reliable VPN will enable you to access blocked websites. There is certain content that is available only in the US, and you can access it by changing your VPN connection.
- Anonymity and privacy
A VPN changes your IP address and passes your data through an encrypted channel to ensure no one will track your online activities or physical address.
