Illegal immigration
Outline
- Introduction
Illegal immigration has been associated with different issues of moral concern, such as homelessness. The difficulty in getting jobs leads most immigrants into having low-quality lives, hence homelessness.
- Displacement is a situation facing immigrants on both ends of their journey in search of survival.
When the conditions do not go as per the expectations, most immigrants live in poverty and are unable to afford to get affordable housing in the host nations. Generally, displacement places immigration in a position of a significant cause of homelessness.
- Homelessness is not backed up with the necessary moral responsibility from concerned bodies.
The native immigrants argue that unregulated immigration has resulted in unnecessary expenditures that have added to the burden of tax to the citizens. Homelessness should, however, be addressed to avoid the consequences associated with the menace.
- Homeless people spend most of their time on the streets.
The chances that such individual turns out to be criminals are high, and thus, society should take responsibility. Discrimination against immigrants should be stopped, so that people may be given equal opportunities.
- Summary
Closing the gaps leading to illegal immigration will lessen the demand for housing, and thus, homes will be available at affordable costs.
