Implementation and Control
In researching and writing the course comprehensive project, I was compelled to harness some relevant skills to research preparation and writing. To be able to do quality research and prepare a report, it is paramount that one has the skills to synthesize information and use it to provide shreds of evidence for the research project. Synthesizing helps one know the relevant topics and lines of argument to develop the research project (Micheli et al., 2019). I was thus able to establish that skill to my advantage and use it to prepare the project. Another skill that came in handy is the skill of summarizing notes found online.
The knowledge I gained from intellipath assignments that we have been doing all through the semester provided to be of the essence in several ways. One particular way was that I set deadlines and beat them correctly, finishing the scope of my targets comfortably. In the management career, one deals with processes and employees, and this time is the complete resource that one needs to be aware of. The knowledge gained in this course will help my profession as it will sharpen me for my greater responsibilities, which involves beating the deadlines and delivering the mandate of the position I will be serving in the future.
Another important aspect of management is the ability to formulate strategies and see them through into completion. A good strategy should have a vision that is the driving force, consist of core values, be clear about the outcomes, have provision to measure accountability, and have well-created KPIs (Truch & Bridger, 2002). One of the significant achievements in strategy creation is the identification of the potential disadvantages to your plan. Failure to do so may present future challenges that may lead to the eventual collapse of the plan. It is also vital that as a manager, one provides proactive and reactive feedback to the top management to enable the gauge the success of the implementation and the possible barriers to its full implementation.
