Time management is a critical tool and technique that ensures that the available time is effectively managed. In case one has not managed their time effectively, then there is a higher likelihood that they will face great challenges in accomplishing their set targets within the stipulated deadlines. Time wastage does not yield to productivity; hence there is need to manage time in order to realize great productions in the long-run. There diverse measurements to consider in order to effectively manage time to avoid wastage. In waste audit, there are various typical waste categories for instance; overproduction, excess inventory, idle time, excess transport, non-value added processing, and deficits/ mistakes; these processes are measured and evaluated differently. In the overproduction category, it is imperative to maintain all interactions in the social media platforms which could be termed as overproduction because some social media platforms are bound  to consume most time; therefore it would be advisable if the time consumed in the social media are minimized and allocated effectively.

  1. Develop a statement on what everyone wants to accomplish with this kaizen.

There is need to reduce time wastage and improve quality for an effective execution of mandates and duties in the end. Under this Kaizen, for instance; excessive transport  na d movements need to be controlled; for example, in the case of  meeting with friends every evening for a conversation and taking a glass of coffee need to be controlled. The time managed might be used for something constructive. When this time is managed, there will be a higher quality improvement in the allocation of constructive projects. Nevertheless, meeting with friends is a good thing but not on daily routine. Some tasks to reduce time delays include having a time plan for every event and ensuring that the time plan has being followed to the letter.

  1. Describe the conditions that everyone wants to achieve.

The conditions that need to be achieved include the awareness and support that revolves around time management; time management will ensure that every process is adequately tackled with minimal or no time wastage. Being a photographer and a social media manager, there is a high notch need to ensure that I have allocated my time effectively in the view of improving my time management in order to attend to all the key concerns; by so doing, I will achieve my targets and balance between work, school and leisure. Time management will also ensure  that additional work is juggled easily, minimal stress while working with others, and a better flow and distribution of the relevant activities.

Brainstorm and list potential actions to take for improvements.

It is imperative to ensure that all the activities and processes are followed to letter in the view of fostering improvements. For instance; organizing crucial areas and finding a process to which everything is placed to their rightful order. In this case; there is need to control the excess inventory in order to resolve time wastage; this is done by setting objectives that are set to be achieved during the day and ensuring that the allocated time has covered the intended task; avoiding spill off time to other tasks is a great action to ensuring that time management as per Kaizen has improved. There is also need to prioritize on the crucial mandates and duties in the view of improving the activities and for instance time management.

These actions have great impacts on time management and performances; therefore there is need to have a clear and concise measure of performance. The prior measure for this process is bound to take at least 15 minutes in total while the improved measures will take at least 10 minute. Therefore; this clearly shows that the impact statement records about 33 percent in reduction time; this reflects that the spared time will be used and managed well in executing more tasks and attaining a more consistent work.

  1. Identify lessons learned during this kaizen event.

There are a number of lessons learned during this kaizen event, for instance; the need to have a clear definition of the process tackled in the view o getting more support and effective time management for the process identified. Additionally, the minor changes had a significant impact in the improvement of the results achieved; this will ensure that we have come up with unbeatable and improved ideas on how to tackle the assignments and plan our time adequately. Kaizen event has also ensured that we are able to balance our social life, school, and work adequately.
