It is amazing how American society has to date emphasized on creating media that showcases how the future would look like. It is heavily influenced by science and fiction. Science is essential to the future because as seen on the website, a majority of the indigenous futurism writers constitute scientists. Their ideas of the future are nonetheless different, as seen in their stories, animations, and artworks.

According to some accounts provided by people on the website, indigenous peoples have a clear idea of how the far-off future that is influenced by science looks like. This is because their past and present lives constitute what other people view as dystopian futures. This view provides an excellent revelation of the kind of life that indigenous people live. It is not hard for other people to visualize this living because it is always depicted in the media. However, it also shows the strength that these indigenous people have and how naturally ready they might be for the extreme future. For instance, their geographic locations are also portrayed as being strategically stronger in existing works of indigenous futurism.

Over the years, filmmakers have relied on science fiction to tell stories about the extreme future. Indigenous people, however, seek to merge science fiction with other easily dismissed ideas such as magic to create their own ideal futures. I believe that this goes to show how well-rooted indigenous people view their lives in the future. It could be heavily influenced by science as seen in the general media, but in their futurisms, it also includes their indigenous beliefs.
