Experience

Our company, the iThink, iLearn team, is a firm that specializes in designing, developing, and implementing instructional designs as well as conducting training using such models. We create a variety of instructional designs to meet the needs of the specific target audience. As a company, we have vast experience in instructional designs, spanning for over five years. We develop designs for academic training, corporate training, as well as government agency training. Our instructional designs are unique and customized to meet the specific audience’s needs as per our design policy.

Introduction

The iThink, iLearn company, is a specialist in instructional designs whose focus is to develop models that facilitate active learning. We have vast experience in developing and implementing instructional models, and our designs have been excellent from the reviews we get. We develop designs for all fields, ranging from education, corporate, and government agency training. In this case, we will be developing and implementing training designs for the XYZ company. We will be training their customer care agents to ensure they possess the necessary skills and experience.

Work to be Accomplished

Our main task will be to develop designs and conduct training for the XYZ company’s customer care agents. After a preliminary investigation, it was found that the group needed re-training to upgrade their skills to meet the current market needs. That was after several clients complained about the quality of customer service by the company. The whole process will run for one month, from 1st to 30th June.

Steps to be Followed

The steps to be followed in the implementation of the designs, as well as the training, are, the analysis of the scenario, designing the instructional strategy, developing materials as well as implementing the plan through training, and finally conducting an evaluation on the effectiveness of the training (Morrison et al., 2013). An analysis of the situation in XYZ company will be done in the first week of the month, 1st to 5th. It will focus on identifying learning and skill gaps among the customer care agents.

The second step will be to develop the design and the instructional strategy. That involves determining how the training will be delivered, by who, and when (Nelson et al., 2003). That will take place in the second week of the month from 8th -12th. It will also involve determining the objectives of the training.

The third step is the delivery of the training. It will be done for a week from 15th-19th June. It will also involve formative evaluation of the training as well as review for improvement.

The final step is the evaluation bit. It will involve both summative evaluation and review. The purpose is to ensure the training objectives have been met (Nelson et al., 2003). That will take place in the last week of the month.
