Inter-Arab Politics
Arab countries had engaged themselves with a war against several countries in 1848 including Israel and Palestine. During the war in both cases, there were political conditions that had resulted in the conflicts between the armies. The civil wars in 1948 had participation by the Arab states which had followed the independence of Israel. Arab politics during the war helped their states with armies against their enemies. For instance during the Palestinian war, Arab politics assisted by providing the necessary requirements of the war.
However after the war, there were divisions in Arab politics especially since most countries started breaking away from the Arab movement. According to Tal (2004), most Palestinians started drifting away from the coalition after the war and begun supporting other nations. As a result, the Inter-Arab Politics became weakened which eventually led to their defeat. Lack of coordination during and after the war caused the weakening of the army thereby causing multiple war defeat including the Israel war.
