Interested Students vs. Those Who Apply
- We could not find data on the students that are interested in applying to DeVry University.
- We, however, found out that in 2017, the number of applications declined. Some universities that recorded a decline include Virginia with a 50% annual decline, Florida at 6% , and New Jersey at 75.5%.

- Health graduates make up 7.76% of total graduates. Other courses taking up the remaining 92.24%.
On-Campus vs Online Students

Research strategy
To obtain data on the student life cycle, we first identified that DeVry University has locations in 18 cities.
We then chose a sample of 7 cities namely Illinois, Georgia, California, Texas, Ohio, Florida, and New York. We used the data to calculate average rates of the student life cycle. In our calculations, we considered data for all the students in general regardless of whether they were pursuing masters, graduate, or undergraduate degrees.
Despite searching through the DeVry University’s website, websites that provide college information such as College Simply, Statistics sites, and general media sites; we could not find categorical data on the life cycle of students pursuing courses in healthcare, non-healthcare, online, and on-campus. The information available was for overall figures which we have presented in this research.
Some figures given in this research were not explicitly given in the sources. We made several calculations to which you can find here.
