Globalization is considered as the way the various the different systems in the society develop from being undertaken in a local/ regional geographical area to encompass the entire world this situation has made globalization to influence significantly the way people live. This aspect has been associated with the way it has impacted different elements in the society which are used by humans daily. This aspect has been associated with the integration of various components to bring the globe closer than it is in real sent. This process has enabled the interaction of individuals from different parts of the world with ease.
Through globalization, transportation has been made easier with individuals being able to move from one part of the word to the other with ease and at a faster rate. Also, globalization has enabled the movement of the various products from different parts of the world with the shortest time possible. This aspect is evident even in the clothes I wear as they are from different countries. The various products that I use in my house are also brands from different countries. Through globalization, I have been able to travel to different states of the United States within a range of minutes to hours.
Globalization has also enhanced trade across different places and regions. This aspect has enabled me to be able to conduct business in any part of the world. Through globalization, international trade has been made valid due to existing international relationships. This process has enabled countries to depend on each other on various products and services. In this case, the aspect has helped me to order products from different countries which are then delivered to me with ease and speed. This process has enabled me to enjoy products such as milk, coffee and fruits which are imported from different countries, and I obtain them while they are still fresh despite the distance.
The aspect of communication has also been enhanced through globalization. This aspect has made me make many friends from different parts of the world. Through features such as video calls, I can contact my friends from different continents and have active conversations with them. In this case, I can obtain the information that I need and learn about different cultures without necessarily having to travel to those places. Through the various aspects described, it is evident that globalization influences greatly the multiple things that surround me every day.
Question 2
The United Nations is considered to be the body which enhances good international relationships among member states across the world. This aspect is associated with the fact that the primary role of the development of the union was to uphold peace and security to the countries which are members of the body. In this case, the organization is actively involved in maintaining peace and unity in countries associated with political unrest and the effects of militia groups which disrupt the order of the different member nations. In such cases, the union sends peacekeeping forces which deal with the situation to restore peace in the affected areas. For example, the UN has been involved in countries with political unrest such as the war-stricken Arab countries.
The United Nations is also active in the enhancement of social and economic development in different member countries. These aspects have been associated with the various development programs which enhance economic growth. Currently, the union is actively involved in the provision of assistance to the different countries which are considered to be affected by various epidemics. This process consists of the development of assistant programs such as UNAIDs which is responsible for assisting countries which are much concerned with the burden of HIV/AIDS. Such programs are aimed at enabling less developed countries to fight epidemics such as HIV/AIDS, Ebola and other problems in the society.
Lastly, the United Nations is actively involved in the protection of human rights and the provision of other humanitarian activities. This aspect is associated with the provision of peace and ensuring that humans are treated equally and the enhancement of international ties. In this case, the organization bases its mandate on the universal declaration of human rights, which ensures that’s individual rights are protected. Also, the UN is actively involved in aspects such as election, improvement of different judicial structures, provision of food, shelter and water to the homeless individuals and other humanitarian elements. Such elements are associated with the lending of hand whenever emergency things such as war, famine and the different natural disasters. Such aspects are considered to lead to significant effects as the body needs to advocate for humanity. In this case, since the body is a non-governmental organisation is found very useful in the provision of the various services that they offer in society.
