What do you think nursing contributes to health care?

Patient treatment is not all about the clinical component of medicine. Patients can feel uncertainty regarding their disease, illness, treatment, or rehabilitation. Nurses must address the physical conditions of a patient, as well as their emotional needs (Iglehart, 2013). Nurses in hospitals utilize specialized functional examination techniques and a wide variety of professional expertise to ensure patient satisfaction. They promote adequate care plans, proper substance administration procedures, prompt monitoring of symptoms, and meetings with professional providers available.

How can a robotic system incorporate the clinical judgment that nurses use?

Robotic medical assistants monitor patient vital signs and warn nurses of the need for a human being in the field, allowing nurses to manage many patients at once (Van Wynsberghe, 2013). These robotic assistants also type information directly in the patient’s electronic health record. Robotic carts can be seen moving through the supply-carrying hospital rooms.

What would health care be without nurses?

Lack of nurses in health care would result in a shorter life span, higher chances of patients getting severe infections, and patients would experience significant challenges after hospitalization or surgery (Iglehart, 2013). This will occur because nurses perform activities that provide essential care for individuals rather than their conditions, and they also offer the patient with comprehensive education about their state.
