Introduction

The study on journalism has mainly focused on the life that most people in China are having during this global pandemic of Covid-19. The extent of the worldwide epidemic has been from affecting the tourism industry continuously. People who are going to China from outside are staying in a mandatory quarantine period. Surprisingly, being a journalist, I faced lots of problems during these three phases before the quarantine.  Quarantine is one of the most important phenomena that will mainly allow the journalists to ensure that all are maintaining the rule of government that is primarily guaranteeing the fact that it will always help in restricting the level of this pandemic. From my interview, I have seen that mostly life before the lockdown and quarantine is way more difficult compared to life before the quarantine. I had noticed that experience before the quarantine was much more comfortable. People and students studying in China and other countries like the UK have responded that life now became very annoying.

Moreover, I have seen that the tourism industry has received a massive setback from the Covid-19 pandemic. The new rules and policies that have been defined are mainly enhancing protection amidst the global epidemic. Moreover, on the other hand, I have seen that I have been facing challenging situations as most of the hotels and airplane attendants are forced to use masks and sanitizers. Even restrictions are also there in terms of luggage and flight rules and regulations.

According to Harcup (2015), journalism is a kind of communication between media and ordinary people. I believe that being a journalist is an art that gives a better opportunity for any individual to understand media better. According to Phillips (2014), News-casting likewise gives one of the essential methods by which contending social and political gatherings amplify their situation by endeavoring to assume responsibility for the mainstream account (or as Bourdieu (1989) depicts it: ‘representative force’). Writers and reporting associations are consistently at the focal point of fights for ’emblematic force’ and consequently subject to endeavors by pretty much incredible associations to win their consideration and endorsement. The inquiry that we will examine further in sections to come is the degree to which news associations are caught by that cycle or are, in reality, molding it. Or then again, do they move from one position to another contingent upon their general force in the field. I believe that this quarantine period has created problems for me as I cannot travel so frequently.

As defined by Wahl-Jorgensen and Hanitzsch (2009), I believe that journalism can act as a better and another differentiating way for ordinary people other than working as only media. The guard dog capacity of news coverage is attempted for the benefit of the populace. In this regard, the writer is given a role as an arbiter between the resident and the lawmaker, the previous’ delegate prior to control, which guarantees that the general population’s voice is heard. This arbiter/agent job can be acted in a few different ways. To start with, political media can give residents direct admittance to the open arena, as pursuers’ letters to papers, telephone in commitments to communicate television shows, and interest in-studio banter about available issues.

Today’s agent capacity of political news-casting is improved by the accessibility of quick, intuitive advances, for example, email, text informing, and blogging, all of which give better approaches to residents to speak with political elites and take an interest in broad daylight banter. These advances have fueled the improvement of an exceptionally participatory majority rule system. A greater number of residents now than at some other time in popularity-based history have formal admittance to political correspondence methods. From the editorial viewpoint, the path of the delegate middle person job stays as it was the point at which pursuers letters were the reasonable primary type of interest. In the open arena for the significant larger part of residents: to remain between general society and the political tip top and guarantee that the individuals’ voice can be heard in the just cycle.

As opined by Burns and Matthews (2018), I have faced the introduction of digital media, and digital prints has fascinated reporters like me who mainly rely on the technologies to interview customers and people who are currently staying during the quarantine period. Many of them successfully given me the correct information.

As penned by Eldridge II and Franklin (2018) in their book, most freelancing journalists like me are having problems in dealing with news and other portions during this quarantine period. Bonnier Gathering worked magazines, books, TV and radio broadcasts, papers, and film creation in 17 European nations. Albeit Bonnier Gathering was forcing rights-getting contracts, as referenced prior (Salamon, 2016a: 990), the organization’s worldwide incomes, benefits, and the number of representatives had expanded: the organization produced 16.8 billion (SEK) in revenues in 2000, an expansion from 14.8 billion (SEK) in 1999; it made 1.1 billion (SEK) in benefits in 2000, an increase from 807 million (SEK) in 1999 and what’s more, it had 10,700 representatives in 2000, an expansion from 9,000 out of 1999. I believe that most of the journalists who are like me are definitely facing issues like home quarantine, not being able to interview people, maintaining social distancing, and wearing safety protections like masks and all.

As opined by Zelizer (2017), imagination is one of the most significant crimes that a journalist can do while doing his duty towards nations. In order to get the data, he has to go to challenging situations like me, and in that case, the conditions are not mattering. They have to go to a unique position and place to collect data that too some extent, will obviously end up in dealing with the overall level of productive criteria that will basically give better results.

As opined by Frost (2015), all the journalists have to follow particular ethics and consideration that will help in dealing with a better level of productivity. I also had to follow the ethics and review like not mentioning the names and identities and all.

Presently to a great extent, an alumnus calling with a versatile workforce, nearby writers are less prone to be from the territory established in nearby networks. With papers having relinquished sufficient interest in preparing, numerous new journalists will have paid for their own preparation, so that, joined with low compensations, news-casting is progressively an industry that lone the wealthy, not really the best, can bear to enter (O’neill and O’Connor, 2008). The aftereffect is less faithfulness to a paper or a territory, and a high turnover of staff, the entirety of which militate against writers genuinely becoming acquainted with a region and its locale. Altering is getting brought together, especially on weeklies, with editors and subs to a great extent based at the parent workplaces in an alternate town, presenting cutoff times and eliminating these staff further from contact with the networks and pursuers they are expected to serve, including the conceivable outcomes of the ‘elite’ stories that pursuers frequently get the wrong sources.

Summary

One thing is pretty clear about the fact that I have gone through severe conditions and challenges that have literally end up in China. Before I return to China, I met the Chinese understudies who discussed their emotions about the lockdown in the UK and their investigation life. I likewise shot pictures about the shut examination room and basic room at their convenience. They couldn’t contemplate and live as in the past. On the plane, I met the airline steward. She discussed the defensive measures on the flight; for example, wearing imprints, and so on. I likewise shot the photos on the plane and will peruse the content for my video about my sentiments on the flight. On the travel air terminal in Swedish I met the Flight Takeoff Facilitator. He discussed the defensive measures at the air terminal and his sentiments about the Chinese flight, and he said enjoyed China without a doubt. I shot and presented my isolate life in the lodging, including kind staff, the food in the inn and my emotions about the isolate life. I met the individuals in another isolate room in the inn on the web. He originates from Norwegian. He came to China for China Winter Game Organization Place as a Science and Innovation Consultant. He discussed his sentiments about the isolate life for occasion, his cycle from inadaptation to transformation. This period gave me ample opportunity to learn and understand my primary duty as journalist as most of the time I had to stay in my hotel and quarantine period literally ended up in having deep crisis. To some extent I would not give got energy if my duties were not so challenging.
