Katz’s Delicatessen

Katz’s Delicatessen is located at 205 East Houston Street at the corner of Ludlow Street. The location is convenient and can easily be accessed in a limited time. Based on its location, the restaurant is likely to have a big volume of customers (Dittmer & Keefe, 2008).
The menu items are homogeneous and are likely offered in other surrounding restaurants. It is quite unlikely that customers come from far and wide to have a taste of a speciality produced by the restaurant. The Desserts, Salad Platters and Noshes are not unique to the restaurant and can be found anywhere at similar prices.
Due to the homogeneity of the menu items, all items are price sensitive to increase sales volume. Inside the restaurant, the lighting is informal and bright and the interior décor has a cheerful red theme that is complemented by numerous portraits. Katz’s Delicatessen is popular for its large portions, making it a go-to restaurant for large families or people who value portions.
However, the big potions come at the cost of product quality. Like every fast food restaurant, the food does not abide by the highest quality standards ((Dittmer & Keefe, 2008). The restaurant offers ordinary fast-food restaurant services with the help of waiters and waitresses. It also offers food delivery options for customers who want to dine from home or may not have enough money for tips. The restaurant menu is diverse ranging from sandwiches, to canned and frozen foods, beverages, desserts and traditional favorites hence offering an unlimited appeal to customers.
I would visit this restaurant for a casual hangout with my friends or relatives. This is because I prefer large portion prices to food quality and the menu diversity is appealing. I also like the fact that the restaurant is easily accessible even making it an ideal place to just walk in and have a simple meal.
