If this process continues excessively, then the individual might experience tooth decay.

Procedure

Prepare eggs with colors

The reason for using eggshells in this experiment is that they have a high calcium content, which makes them perfect for testing the effectiveness of toothpaste. To achieve this goal, the experiment will require one egg for any pair of toothpaste tested. The steps include:

Measure 150mL of water into a 300mL beaker

Heat the water to boiling on a special stove

Remove the beaker of water from the hot plate. Add 20mL of vinegar and some drops of red food coloring

Insert a boiled egg in the colored water such as for some few minutes, until it stains significantly

Remove the egg and place it on a stable platform to let it dry
