Leadership development
Through personal leadership, I have been able to discover more and improve on the different styles of leadership which include the importance of servant leadership and transformational leadership. I have also improved my leadership skills, and through the practice of leading in different teams, I can use SMART goals to accomplish the mission of the team. Additionally, my communication style has also improved as it is one of the primary skills that a leader need to have .Communication style enable s a leader to be able to interact win the team and a a result one will be able to study each individual and all their character and if a team member is out of place a leader will have an easy time discovering it.My attitude toward leadership is to be able to inspire people at all-time despite the situation. And as a leader it is my responsibility to ensure that a certain situation is in control and that am able to influence the team members towards the same goal. One thing I have realized about attitude towards leadership is that one attitude is more important compared to aptitude and a positive attitude determines the action one will take next.
In the philosophy leadership development is enhanced mostly when one has a clear understanding on the importance relationships that are present in leadership. There are three principles that are involved and they include doing, being and knowing. one of the most essential thing one need to know is that it is unrealistic if an individual to think that there are certain traditional relationship that are required for effective leader. As I have been in different organization one of the most realization about leadership philosophy is that leadership cannot be reduced to different numbers of easy steps. In the current change that were are experiencing mostly in leadership the complexity of today’s problems can be easily felt and different people use different ways to control the situation.
