Life Without Technology is Impossible
No one would imagine a life without modern technology.
This imagination sounds horrific-it is a nightmare that no man can allow his mind to fancy. It is such a monotonous life.
Think of it this way.
Without the use of the internet, you would not have read this article.
Without modern technology, the gadget you are holding would be nonexistent.
Imagine life without phones, computers, machinery, etc.
What a boring life!
Technology is a plus in the 21st century. It has considerably changed the way of life and contributes immensely to the advancement of societal relations, growth, and achievements.
Whenever I think of life without technology, my mind always sees the world as a dark place.
I will tell you why:
- The evolution of machinery makes work more comfortable, manageable, and efficient.
- The advancement of telecommunication provides fast communication channels. Messages are delivered promptly, video calls come handy and save us all the unnecessary physical meetings, etc
- Computers are evolving day in, day out with high processing speeds unbelievable to people living in the old days.
- The fast, improving scientific knowledge keeps providing solutions to our day to day problems.
How would the world cope without all these?
Take away telecommunication and the internet. Boom! The world would turn blind, back to the horrible ancient times.
Generally, the role played by technology in modern society is extraordinary.
Even though technology has few shortcomings, the benefits accruing from tech are many, making life without technology impossible.
