The main point is that the R & D makes allocation of the resources to the technology giving a long-term service, thus supporting the business growth in the near future.

The target audience of the R & D Strategy and Planning are the companies that are currently under a lot of stress in order to make their investments protect them from any disruption and for them to create for themselves new opportunities.

What evidence supports the main point?

The arguments on the satisfaction with the given ability to secure the funding’s that will help in the company’s investments, The other evidence is the satisfaction of the funding and the processes and lastly their satisfaction with the long term planning with the findings it brought evidence that only 13 per cent of the company was satisfied and other companies were moderately satisfied. The long-term visioning scorecards also supported the main point above.

My opinion towards this article is that the R & D should have a greater insight in choosing the best opportunities of the business by understanding the business needs, even the markets potential for the business and the improved technology frames of the trends in order for the main point to be reached. For the above reasons, I therefore not agree with the findings the R & D gave in this article.
