Making my favorite drink, Margarita
My favorite drink is called Margarita, which was invented way back in Mexico, in an area named Juarez. The reason for the name is that the locals used to call it Daisy, which meant Margarita in Spanish. It was one of the best attractions in pubs and restaurants all over Mexico, which was viewed as a tourist attraction. Many foreigners fell in love with the drink. After some years passed the recipe of making this drink crossed over to the United States. The reason why this drink is my favorite is because of the smoothness and the tingly sweet taste that it gives the mouth, which was made Drink of the Month in the 1950s. It is vital to understand that making the Margarita to customers or self is an exciting feeling as the recipe is straightforward to understand. Ingredients to make the Margarita drink
When making this drink, I usually must have all the necessary ingredients in one place so that it may be easier to create it. The process is very delicate yet straightforward, but it requires all of the items to create this cocktail drink. Below are the ingredients for the Margarita drink;
- 2/3 oz. silver tequila
- 1 oz. lime juice
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- Ice cubes

Process of making Margarita
The first step is ensuring that the cocktail glass is chilled in which It is rubbed with lime juice then dip it in coarse salt. The second step is taking cocktail shakers,
then add the silver tequila and other items like Cointreau, lime juice, and a few ice cubes. Shake it vigorously for 5 to 10 seconds mixing the ingredients all together in the cocktail shaker. After shaking it well, you have to strain the mixture into the glass over some ice cubes to make it more chilled. Lastly, you can garnish the rim of the glass with a thinly sliced lemon or orange piece.
There are other alternative processes of making this cocktail drink. First, one can start by putting the ice cubes in the cocktail shaker. Later on, there is a need to add 2/3 oz of tequila, squeezed lemon, honey, or any syrup of your liking, and lastly, is the orange liqueur.
