Construction Worker Injured in San Antonio Accident
San Antonio, Texas (July 22, 2020) – A construction worker was injured Tuesday afternoon after getting trapped in a trench in Far Northwest Bexar County, according to authorities.
The accident happened around 12:45 p.m., July 21, on Galm Road and Swayback Ranch.
Authorities said a man in his 50s was entrapped by a trench collapse. He was about ten feet down in the trench with dirt up to his waist.
The man was rescued and was airlifted to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
