Product Scope Description:
The renovated 10,000sf of a medical laboratory will go a long way in conforming to the international laboratory standards as well as creating a conducive working environment for researchers by equipping it with the latest equipment, providing more lighting, and user friendly for persons with disability.
Project Deliverables:
The complete function of equipment and personnel space for movement and work.
Proper ventilation for occupational safety and comfort.
Proper electricity connection and emergency power supply.
Proper control of hazardous gases and chemicals to reduce risks associated with the.
Project handover within the stipulated time.
Project Acceptance Criteria:
Lab requirements and performance conformity as set out in the project delivery.
Project expense that will not go over the budgetary constraints set out.
Provision of training and user manuals for the new equipment.
Project Exclusions:
Project exclusions clearly define what is considered out of scope for the project.
Structural aspects including foundation and columns of the building.
Main electricity wiring of the building including cables running within walls.
Roofing not including painting.
Project Constraints:
Time, we are working on a short deadline of 5 weeks.
Budget, the amount allocated can only go overboard by 10% and must be justified.
Shortage of labor because of the prevailing pandemic, COVID 19.
The supply chain is somewhat disrupted.
Because of social distancing measures in place, we may not operate on a full workforce.
Project Assumptions:
.Prices for resources will somewhat remain the same in the next 8 weeks.
The weather will remain suitable for the renovation to continue.
All necessary workers will report and perform at an optimum level.
The supply chain will not be disrupted further.
No further restrictions in response to COVID 19 that inhibit work will be announced by the government.
The pandemic will slow down.
