My Weekly Report
This week, I have accomplished a number of things, and I can say it’s a slight improvement from the past week. First and foremost, I learned about SCRUM as an agile methodology that is used to manage the knowledge work, which is complex. It was essential to understand that the scrum method ensures that the workload is broken down into smaller chunks that are easily manageable. This aids in spotting potential defects in early stages hence avoiding redoing the whole project from the start. This also brings the aspect of testing in relatively small modules.
The second most important thing I learned was networking and affinity groups. An affinity group is a group of professions who come together occasionally to discuss the common issues they have and is always nonprofit oriented. These groups aid students in growing their gender, sexual, racial, and religious identities. This is made positive by supporting other people. I was greatly interested in the New Tech affinity groups, which I joined. However, I failed to present my biggest project as I am still working on it.
During the week, I also went on with my research on loops. I understood that a do-while loop is a control line that runs a code once or more and then repeats to run the code without basing on the condition which is provided at the end of the block of code while a for loop executes different statements till it makes sure that the condition mentioned is true and can be used to find the value of something. They are generally structures that repeat themselves until the task supposed to be accomplished is done.
My biggest project, which I am still working on, is the anxiety presentation that I am eager to bring forth as soon as possible. In my presentation am supposed to focus deeply on the symptoms, causes, treatment, facts, and figures concerning anxiety at large. This has been a disorder that has been misinterpreted for a long while worldwide, and I felt like I needed to do my research and compile all my findings into a presentation. I am greatly looking forward to next week’s scheduling and preparing myself to make it a success.
