Several things have been addressed in this article. One of the things addressed is the issue of drug overdose. The use of opioids in excess is harmful (Powell et al., 2017). Another factor that is discussed in this article is the issue of opioids drugs and how they tend to have some negative impacts. Most important is the relationship between medical opioids supply and drug overdose.
There are several questions that this article leaves unanswered. The topic of drug abuse, which involves the use of opioids, is a broad topic, which means that there are several questions that the article could not answer. The first question that was not addressed in the article is the population that is significantly affected by the overdose of this type of medicine. The second issue that could have been addressed is the positive impacts of opioids which makes them to be used in hospitals. The other question is on the various methods that these drugs are abused. This could have enabled the reader to know how opioids get abused.
This source is very useful to the topic of drug abuse because it shows that even the drugs that are given in hospitals can have some negative impacts when overdosed. This is because opioids include those drugs that are illegal, such as heroin, morphine, codeine, and many others. In other words, this article is an eye-opener to show that not only alcohol and bang are abused but even the drugs given in hospitals. This source has also indicated some statistics related to deaths that are caused by drug abuse. This implies that it is easier to understand the issue of drug abuse in a different way.
