Nursing
Nursing is very crucial in the healthcare system because nurses are among the most trusted practitioners. They spend most of their time with patients, which makes them essential and close to their patients. These factors make nursing dear to me, and I would want nothing less than being a nurse. I always want to help people around who are in need and what better way than through the nursing profession. Serving people through healthcare has always been my childhood dream, and nursing is a sure way to achieve my goals. These are the reasons why I decided to pursue nursing.
I am very empathetic and humble. These traits are essential and rare, and they will enable me to become a better nurse. Being empathetic will allow me to understand my patients better and offer the best service possible. I am also honest, and this trait will ensure that I am truthful in my service delivery to patients and observe the code of conduct. My service as a nurse will help the community because, in a way, I will be a role model to kids and the youth. My services will also reduce the prevalence of diseases and encourage well-being.
After graduation, my educational goals are to practice nursing service for several months before enrolling in an ADN program. The program will ensure that I am better equipped at handling patients. The program will also enable me to provide emotional support when necessary. Through continued learning and practice, I will have a better understanding of diseases and develop better methods of treating patients. My educational goals will also equip me with the necessary skills to enhance the quality of care.
