In this lesson, the strategy used is known as shared reading. Shared Reading occurs when the students share the reading of a text or a book under the guidance and instructions of a teacher.

This strategy provides necessary support to struggling readers and allows students to read materials they may not have read by themselves. From the video, we can see that this strategy gives the students a sense of belonging as part of the group by making them feel more successful. To improve shared reading, I would recommend the teacher to re-read the story to enhance more understanding.

In this second lesson, the teacher uses a small group strategy lesson using inferring. This strategy follows a specific structure in that the teacher first introduces the method and catches the children’s attention by giving them a quick example. Then the students a book and tries to evaluate the character’s feelings by looking at the words used and the pictures and tries to conclude the texts. This strategy promotes learning since it helps the students to be more flexible and open-minded. This can be improved when the instructor engages the students by asking how the author expresses the character in the texts.

In this lesson, the strategy used is writing workshop Lessons (Editing in Opinion Writing). Since reading and writing are dependent on that, they have high chances of becoming better writers when they read more. This strategy promotes reading because it builds knowledge in writing and assists students in understanding writing better. It also helps to make the students critical readers of their own.

The strategy adopted in this lesson is a shared writing strategy. The teacher and students contribute their ideas and thoughts to construct a text together. This strategy promotes reading since it supports writing as well as writing and allows all students to participate. In this strategy, the teacher can focus on spellings, punctuations, grammar, and capitalization.
