Paper has been used for decades for writing, painting
Paper has been used for decades for writing, painting, and other myriad reasons. However, the thinness and volume vary depending on the purpose. The thinnest Paper ever produced dates back to the 17th century and was used for painting many practical ceremonies. Paper is very critical as it undergoes many chemical changes throughout its lifecycle that are harmful to the paper. The goal of this paper discusses the lifecycle of the thinnest paper in the world.
The paper was crafted by the Kocho and Gifu prefectures and is also known as tengujo. In the wake of the 20th century, the rapid technological changes made the paper thinner and flexibility to the extent that it could reinforce worn off papers. As of 1949, the paper continued to undergo spontaneous transformation to create thinner but had retained its strength in flexibility as uniformity. At the same time, the paper had become a source of revenue for Japanese. The paper was widely accepted in foreign markets and was used as a litmus test for the viability of paper. In 1949 the papers were carefully analyzed and stored a conducive environment for historical purposes. The following year the paper entered the first phase of testing to determine its eligibility for regular use of preserving historical documents.
Further on in 1963, the paper passed the fiber test analysis to determine the strength of the paper to undergo conservation treatment while protecting the paper against atmospheric pressure. By 1977, Kocho and Gifu have obtained the unique extraction process to maintain the thickness of the paper. In 1980 the companies researchers wrapped up the testing phase and stated that the paper was fit for conservation treatment. In the early 2000s, the paper was put into optimal use and integrated into the national museums for paper reinforcement. Later on, in 2011, the National Archives of Japan challenged the company to make a handful of lighter and thinner paper to improve the reinforcement techniques. Today the paper boosts as one of the best papers that have a 100% mixed of the best fibers in the market.
