In this modern era, technology influences most aspects of life, including literature. Stakeholders are collaborating with mot-for-profit to create virtual libraries with tens of thousands of books, many of which are free to read and share. Supporters of print books argue that they are more comprehendible and are less likely to cause eye fatigue (1). However, the benefits of e-books outnumber those of print books, including the development of night-mode feature for reading applications, portability, as well as accessibility and availability.
Embracing e-books is logical because they are portable and more convenient than printed books. In history, religious groups were the first to embrace new technology to share their beliefs. Over the centuries, various faiths shared their teachings using scrolls, manuscripts, letters, print publications, but thanks to e-books, the mission is more straightforward. Nowadays, teachers of religion can use e-books scriptures and other relevant literature to instruct faithful more efficiently and conveniently. Other aspects of life also benefit from the use of eBooks; students, for example, use digital methods to study may be interested in subscribing to e-book access through various suppliers and applications like Amazon (2).
Additionally, e-books are economical; in comparison to printed books, they are much more cost-effective because associated costs such as bulk printing, shipment all over the world, environmental pollution no longer apply. Purchasing access to virtually unlimited collections of e-books is cheaper, and there is no limit to how many books one can access at a time, like in libraries or establishments that offer book-lending services. Despite the popularity of e-books, a significant number of people still hold that print books are still relevant, that their pages are magic to read. The value of print books is a fact, but their continued use is questioned more with every development in paperless literature. E-books are becoming an essential part of life, thanks to the efficiency they bring, meaning that remote locations or conditions can not limit readers from carrying on with their current read in the same way as one would read a print book(1). For instance, one can access these books everywhere as long they have them in their devices, with no interruptions; at the same time, it is hard for those who use printed books to use them in such a variety of ways like in a hotel, or when even traveling.
E-Books are convenient and easily assessed at any time compared to printed books. Before e-books, one could walk in many book shops and libraries searching for a specific book which is not only tiresome but also discouraging. E-books are instant; with them, you don’t need to leave the house to borrow or buy new books (1). E-books can now be purchased currently from the modern book store and can still be downloaded the devices instantly. Nowadays, the library also provides new e-book lending so that users can download free even without the need to in the libraries.
Overall, night mode addresses concerns over eye-fatigue while the portability of e-books allows readers to carry many and sometimes large books or volumes. Embracing e-books are essential because they are portable and more comfortable than printed books. E-Books are convenient and easily assessed at any time compared to printed books. The other benefit associated with embracing e-books is that they are economical compared to printed books (cost-effective). For these reasons, e-books have more excellent utility and are thus better than print book
