According to Tiffany, the Coca-Cola Company is a top American Multinational Beverage Corporation. The Company mainly deals with marketing, retailing, and manufacturing of non-alcoholic drinks. Additionally, the Company was established in the late 19th century, and since then, the Company has continued to grow. The Company is responsible for developing a concentrate that is distributed to all the licensed bottlers and sub-branches of the Company in the whole world. Tiffany’s post shows that the Company has experienced boycotts that arise from the violation of the workers’ rights at the Company. Similarly, the Company has had a poor record of the environmental conversation by taking water from the local communities and altering environmental data. The Company has also been criticized for the excessive sugars found in the beverage that leads to health problems. Thereby, the Company has been criticized by many environmentalists worldwide due to its unethical practices in the health and environmental sectors. The Company is an example of a company that engages in unethical behavior due to excessive interest in money. In the current world, other more companies are interested in making money without considering the ethical factors or any other adverse effects they may create. Therefore, companies should manage all their ethical issues by engaging in activities that benefit the people and the community. Additionally, the government should implement stringent laws and policies that would mitigate the occurrence of companies that practice unethical behaviors.

According to Angelia, ASDA is a British owned supermarket whose headquarters are at Leeds in West Yorkshire. The Company was founded in 1949 by the Asquith family. The Company deals with selling goods and products. Similarly, the Company also deals with financial services and cell phone providers. Despite its services, the retail Company has failed to embed corporate responsibility in its supply chains and operations worldwide. Due to this, workers at the retail store have been abused. Such practice is unethical to employees. According to the post, it is true that when the employees’ rights have been infringed, the Company is affected negatively on its long-term period. Similarly, the retail Company has also been faced with unethical behavior of fixing the prices of dairy products, which led to an overcharge in the prices the consumers were supposed to pay. Therefore, such unethical practices should be combated (Zhang et al, 2020). The retail Company should also endeavor to protect their employees’ rights by creating a pleasant working environment.

Peer Three

According to Jane, unethical business practices have been common worldwide, and this aspect is very right. Many employees and workers are being exploited for cheap labor and poor working conditions. Such companies engaging in unethical behavior do this to reduce costs and increase the profits gained. Jane narrates an experience of how workers recruited from Africa were paid low wages while the KBR Company made millions of dollars. The workers were only paid 450 dollars and given one day off during their contract period. During this period, there was no company supervision since most of the employed workers were from African countries. Jane’s experience is just among the many other unreported unethical practices. Therefore, such companies should be sued because of these practices (Ting et al, 2020). Similarly, the workers should also report any form of abuse or unethical practices at the workplace.

According to Amanda Capstone, launching a particular network is a factor that should be addressed internationally. This is because the required content should be promoted, and other needy individuals can be supported. From the post, the primary function of a network is to develop a common area designed for fostering and helping families who need support. According to Amanda, the specific people being addressed are the government representatives, local agencies, judges, and lawyers who are the primary decision-makers in the current world. Such people can provide the best assistance for the families interested in filling the gaps for the orphans. From the post, Orphan Care Network is the nearest network designed for helping families in the community. In such a ministry, there are no boundaries of helping though the limiting factor can be the resources and time required to assist these families. Other stakeholders and well-wishers can be called upon to support the initiative to reduce the challenge of resources. Similarly, fundraising events can also be arranged that will mainly aim at creating more money used to assist the needy families

Response Five

According to Rekaya Capstone, he was surprised when the students score at their STAR test. The test is considered one of the needs analysis that Rekaya uses to assess the students reading ability. According to the results, there were fewer struggling students than what Rekaya was expecting considering the early departure of school the previous year. With the emergence of Corona Virus disease, most parents did not have the resources to support their children. However, the students performed well. In another test of a smiley face chart, the students who seemed not to enjoy reading also performed poorly at their STAR exams. Therefore, it is evident that these students need to be motivated to enjoy reading, and similarly, the teacher needs to motivate all the students so that they can work hard.
