Infographics are a visual representation of data and information to help the viewer get an easy understanding of data. Many clients who use e-commerce services need visual presentation of data and information to know what their websites provide. E-commerce marketers find visual language a useful tool for communicating with their clients and influencing them into purchasing various products and services on the internet. Client perception is one of the vital marketing factors that affect the effectiveness of a marketing strategy. ELOQUII has a website that allows women to purchase merchandise from the company and have them delivered at their residence. The company specializes in women who have a 14-plus size and cannot get their clothes from regular fashion shops. Fashion designers tend to underserve these segments of clients, which is very large. 47% of women in the U.S are plus size, and the market size amounts to $21 billion. ELOQUII makes three times its investment in plus-size clothes. It is so far one of the most profitable fashion business in America. Walmart targets to invest in the company to tap into the lucrative market of ELOQUII.

The use of infographics can assist Wal-Mart to share its information to clients about the merger with ELOQUII. It should focus on gaining the best impact from the infographic. The designers can use the Gestalt principle when designing the visual presentation so that clients can easily understand its content and have a better perception of its information. According to the Gestalt principle, the human brain processes a lot of information at a go and can become lazy. An infographic must concentrate on simplicity to have maximum effect on the viewer. It must use similarity for the client to connect the information with a group of similar items. There must be proximity so that the clients can see things close together and increase their understanding. The infographic needs to observe continuity, symmetry, and synchrony so that the audience processes the information with the least effort and maximum understanding. Gestalt’s principle can have a positive impact on a product and enhance its sales in the market for maximum profitability. It will also increase the effectiveness of an e-commerce marketing strategy.
