My name is Christine Joy Pagatpat and I am 19 years old.
My journey of faith started when I became a scholar of the SSP.
When I was a grade 9 student, I was chosen to be a beneficiary of the Student Sponsorship Program of Dream Quest International. More than just the financial support for my studies, the program also introduced me to the love Christ has for me. Being part of the program and attending weekly Life Group became an avenue for me to know Jesus Christ and accept Him as my Lord and savior.
Now, I am a college student taking up Management at the University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban Campus and I have been a part of DQ for 5 years now. From being an SSP member, I became a Lifegroup leader all because of how God transformed me and how He worked in my life.
By God’s grace, our church, DQI, is expanding in numbers as many students are reached through different ministries, like the SSP, that our church has. That being the case, we plan on moving to a new building. Our church is reaching out to you to seek aid and be our partner in achieving this. Moving to a new facility will not only give us better accommodation but most importantly, it will also help Dream Quest minister and introduce God to more students like me.
