Personality features

Have you ever taken the time to take a good look at yourself and asked who am I? Well, have you ever sat down and wondered what makes me? The answer to this question is your personality. The unique characteristics that distinguish an individual or a nation or group are the Webster definition of personality. People differ in their personalities in many different ways. There are many different aspects that make up the personality of someone. As this theory goes on, I will be forced to look at myself and see what makes me and get to know these influential factors in my life. This class will force each person to look into the mirror and ask why I am the way that I am through my personality.

Personality is the eighth basic aspect of a person, which includes the body, facial, or mental reaction we have to certain people or things. Some people differ in situations and do not maintain a steady personality, which is considered a split personality. This means that your personality can change within time. Your personality is a set of features that define you as an individual.

Some key personality features are stubbornness, easily irritated by things, control freak, and neat freak. For example, I am easily irritated by some situations at work. I was trying to explain to a fellow server, in a part-time job, the proper procedure for how cups are to be handled; she argued me down that I was wrong, and she didn’t care, and that’s not true even though she knew. Eventually, I became so upset, trying not to raise my voice and become irritated, and I picked up a plate and tried to set it back down, and I broke the plate and cut my hand in the process. This is a clear indication I am a control freak in my team, yet I am not the team leader, but I am the final say, so when it comes to our papers and everything, it goes through me. I am also a neat freak well my home is where that comes in. My house is always clean. I grew up with the idea you never know when you will have company around, and that has stuck with me all these years. Even as a server at work, I battle with a neatness issue; my drink station always has to be clean, and sometimes the dishes in the dish room get to me so much that I take it upon myself to clean them. Earlier this week, I spent three hours in the dish room washing dishes because they piled up and got me irritated.
