Perception: People are always skeptical when met with different ideas, either physically or in their minds. It is possible to avoid skepticism where people always have overwhelming doubt on a given idea. Perception deals with what people observe and interpret an event. The event may be an object some distance away from the observer. Perception can be affected by the motivation of what we want to see or hear but then turns out to be the opposite. One particular example is when you are expecting a phone call, ad while taking a shower, hearing the sound of a phone call, but it’s the opposite when you go and check the phone. Therefore, the perception shifts the ability of the mind to differentiate background noise and true sensory stimulus.
Skepticism maintains that because people do not perceive external objects directly, they can never know for real whether they exist.
Memory: the memory can be the most unreliable source. Human beings forget things easily and quickly. A person may not remember remote information about a situation that happened sometime back, and if asked about it, the information may not be true. When a person is in a pressing situation or panic, information gets lost and gives unreliable information. If robbers attack a person either at night or during the day, he might forget how the robbers were dressed or what they were carrying if interrogated when in panic. But after relaxing for some time, the memory can try to remember more information than when in panic.
Inspection: Inspecting the condition or mood of a person can be a deceiving situation. It is hard to tell what the person is suffering from unless there is an intervention of experts. For example, a person may look depressed, but they are sad. Sadness is a normal mood compared to depression, which is not normal. Therefore, to check whether the person is sad or depressed, the doctor’s intervention is needed.
Reasoning: Reasoning is always interrupted by doing things in a hurry. The purpose of reasoning is to understand and discover, which requires intelligence, invention, and creativity. Reasoning becomes inaccurate because of seeing things from one perspective, rigidity of thinking, cultural patterns, emotional imbalance, prejudice, and ignorance. There are various situations in which reasoning can deceive people. For example, a student may go to an exam room without any knowledge believing that it’s easy to pass an exam without reading or doing any research. In the end, the student fails the exam because of being deceived by reasoning.
No, that’s not true. Making one mistake does mean that we shall repeat the same mistake tomorrow or days after. The small achievements that people make every day are a clear indication that it’s possible to succeed. People’s progress through reasoning, creativity, and innovation shows that everything people is not a mistake. People use their failures to learn and make more significant achievements. Some years ago, there were more deaths from vehicles and airplanes, but with the new technology, there are improvements that have ensured more security in the transport industry. I would tell the skeptic that; It is true man is not always correct, but he uses his failures to correct the mistakes made and make improvements.
