Philosophy of science

Hello Chelsea,
Thank you for posting an educational and engaging post regarding the philosophy of science. I have gained several insights from your worldview and the influence it will have on your research. Based on your post-positivist worldview, I have learned that using both qualitative and quantitative methods may help a researcher come up with more accurate results. Using quantitative and qualitative data will enable the researcher to get in-depth information and increase the accuracy of results as objectivity is maintained (Babbie, 2017). Therefore, using the post-positivist method may be extremely beneficial to researchers as they benefit from a qualitative and quantitative methodology. Additionally, I have learned that information is out there, and it is not easily accessible; hence, using both quantitative and qualitative methods is essential (Sheikh& Sultana, 2016). Forgive my curiosity: What are some limitations you anticipate when using the post-positivist worldview while answering your research questions?
