Planning a seminar

A seminar is a meeting for giving and discussing information to a group of people, students and commercial workers. It is enhanced through education to improve academic levels in each academic subject or topic. It has a significant impact which includes improving communication skills, gaining knowledge, networking with others and improves motivation and self-confidence.

Step 1

CHARITIES: they are non-profit making organizations mostly used for fundraising activities, donations and improving the social wellbeing of the people aiming to improve lives in every community. Charity work can be marketed through digital and social media to enhance networking to various audience and groups. In every organization, there is a set of goals and objectives to be achieved; marketing charity work through digital and social media platform is an excellent way for those in non-profit sectors. Without goals, it hard to know how your social networking is performing, thus effectively setting the goals help in identifying the success of using social media.

For an effective achievement of goals, it must be specific since the more accurate a goal is, the easier it is to see and understand what we are trying to accomplish in our organization. It will help to know the number of followers interested in our campaign; thus, our communication to the customers will be highly improved. By understanding a number of our followers, we will be able to layout the success of our business, and by doing so, we are sure of doubling the followers who will help us to achieve our mission and vision of our organization. Once our goal is attainable, we will be able to reach our target, and this will help us to identify whether it is possible in doubling our followers or not, to establish our online authority. To accomplish, it must be realistic so that it goes hand in hand with the business objectives. If our goals support our business objectives, we can advertise our services and sell our product effectively through social media, and this must go hand in proper timing. A realistic schedule helps in improving the organizational sets goals effectively since they work within a given period.

Step 2

We plan a seminar about the environment through social media since adult mostly uses this platform between 18 and above years of age, this is a productive group which will be more aware of our campaign and helps to improve our environmental conditions effectively. Donating to charitable foundation displays the best through the environment ( Whitehead, et al2017). It enhances the awareness of the environment since the problems are well presented and effective solutions enhanced.

Our seminar will help to capture volunteers who will assist in conserving and protecting the environment. They will do this by planting the trees which will help to combat the climate change, reduce pollution in the air, prevent soil erosion, provide habitat to wildlife etc., thus improving the beauty of nature. We market this through social media since it will reach out to large numbers of people and thus improving their skills and knowledge to conserve and protect the environment. Many will volunteer to work, and this helps strengthen their practical ability working in the field, this will impress the employers since their CVs are of highly recommended. Volunteering helps improve personal confidence since there’s cross-cultural interaction among the various working group. Our charity work will include donating trees and pesticides to the community at large. Non-profit organization sensitize the community member on sustainable practices through education program offered and shows them the need to give back to the community since education is in consideration of future environmental conservation
