Play argument
Hello Zheng, I liked the way you argued in your piece because I could identify two important themes in the play. The three characters in the play, Fair, Gay, and Sneak, seems to differ in terms of behavior. Fair appears vigilant and courageous. Sneak seemed to be a drunkard and weak to cause harm to anybody. Gay appears to very serious in his life but found himself in family conflict. On the other, we have another group of family members who seems to be affected by family conflicts. The engagement between Mr. and Mrs. Graspall happened to have disagreement most of the time because one seems to have powers more than the other. I identified the theme of gender role and family relationships in the play. It brought a picture of modern society. Where gender roles keep changing with women competing with men in various fields
