Policy statement for primary priority for US law enforcement
Policy Statement: To bring the perpetrators of terrorism to book so that they may serve as an example to others, and to counter any form of organized crime within the society through the use of diplomacy and excessive force, if need be.
Justification and results.
The above policy statement can be justified by the fact there have been increased rates of terrorism. The implementation of the policy led to a sharp decline in the incidences of terrorism in the United States. Since the 9/11 terror attack that was carried out in the United States, a total of 486 terrorists have been charged. This has then been followed by a decline in the rates with 2020 having only 2 jihadist terrorists charged. On the other hand, when it comes to organized crime. This has also experienced desirable results, with the year 2020 recording a 30% decline. Therefore, the United States should adopt the policy outlined above to ensure that its residents are safe.
