Poor Behavior Controls
“Poor Behavior controls” is an opinion that explains the nature of psychopaths and their reactions towards insults. The author argues that psychopaths are highly reactive to the abuses and slights. In addition to that, the author claims that most of the psychopaths have potent inhibitory controls of their behavior. They are sometimes aggressive in responding to the insults, but they contain it in many cases. Psychopaths are short-tempered, and they respond to failures, frustrations, critics, and discipline with abuse, violence, and threats. They quickly become angry when they are subjected to bad things by either their friends or enemies. The author uses the example of a character, Carl, whose wife could not bring him food and cigarette because no one could help her watching the children. In this case, Carl uses abusive languages like, “you are bitch,” “I will kill you.” This shows that Carl is a psychopath and short-tempered when he is offended.
