How specific artifacts in the portfolios represent me as a learner
The courses in the college have shaped my nursing education. EBP has ensured that I gained proper researching skills, which I did not know previously. Leadership and communication are essential to deal with people from all groups. Community nursing is a challenge before I familiarize myself with these kinds of researches. The portfolio has been an eye-opener, as I was not well-accustomed with the needs of the class. It required me to take time to complete a windshield survey. As a result, the skills gained from the community nursing courses are critical for the completion of the class. In this regard, it has been easy for me to create robust protocols at the current organization I am working at.
How the specific artefacts represent my professional strengths
My learning process involved the use of technologies. Some of the techniques used were challenging. However, WGU has offered guidance, which has ensured that I have improved my knowledge and confidence. As a result, I have been comfortable with the platform. On top of this, working at its own pace was quite challenging; however, it has been proven to be of great importance. The mentors have been offering guidance and a lot of support, which I have been comfortable. As a result, I have been comfortable, which is now my professional strength.
The importance of course work in meeting the nine nursing program outcomes
The course work is encouraging me to have effective communication because it has improved my writing, oral, as well as communication modes by completing the nine programs. The course has also ensured that I harness my leadership skills. My abilities in identifying and promoting working style with other individuals have improved significantly. Also, this has been useful to me for interprofessional collaboration. It, in turn, ensure that I promote the overall safety and care for my clients. I consider myself to be a leader, where I can make significant changes to ensure self-improvement.
Ways of fulfilling the following roles as detective, scientist, and a manager
When working as a nurse, there are several roles that an individual must assume. For example, he or she acts as a detective and must always look for hidden cues. Discovering this information can make a nurse to be considered as a detective. When these hidden cues have been grouped, he/she will be acting as a scientist. In this regard, he or she must figure out these prices and what is causing the health problem in the life of the patient. The data will be critically important for the formulation of a hypothesis that may make him or her perform experiments. As a result, he/she will come up with conclusions. These roles are critical for the next one, where he or she acts as a manager. Herein, the nurse will be performing care. Nurses employ different kinds of tools in assessing, detecting, and analyzing the data. Also, they can discover and experiment before making a conclusive statement. Thus, they will be monitoring the patients in a holistic process.
EBP practice has provided me with clinical knowledge, which is critically important when I am waking informed decisions. These are also critical in making healthcare changes in my surrounding, with the primary objective of providing the best kind of care, which will be up to date with the current trends. The patients always need standard care, which I know I will be providing to them. By the application of the ethical scenario in real-life events, I know that I am patient-centred. I am also sensitive to cultural factors, which may be affecting healthcare. Community nursing has been critical for me in synthesizing and use knowledge from different sectors of health. The need for the provision of individualized care, which is culturally sensitive and patient-driven is critical. As a result, these were some of the essential information which I learned from the course. It is critically important for a community nurse to understand technology, which is useful in today’s life. Also, having adequate knowledge about electronics used in the healthcare sectors is a necessity to ensure that there is a standard delivery of care.

Nurses are the majority in the healthcare profession. The provision of high-quality care ensures that the care program is individualized and safe. Quality of care is a primary challenge affecting nursing. In this regard, we are always involved in determining the plan for treating patients. Understanding how RCA is carried has given me the ability to analyzing risks and come up with interventions to improve the health of patients.
The IHI is involved in the education and training of nurses, which are critical in ensuring the safety of patients. The certificate is critically important in providing continuous learning, which will be useful in ensuring the safety of the patient. Also, it can help deliver high-quality care. The course has been of great importance in dealing with different issues because I have developed problem-solving skills.
