- Based on the assigned article, price building can be termed as a pricing strategy in which a seller, company, or organization combines various products and sells them afterward at a single price rather than charging different fees for each of them. In this case, the strategy is likely to work since the consumers will prefer when the package is double compared to one package. The satisfaction of the customer might be based on the quantity.
- In the process of reading the article, I encountered a new terminology colonoscopy. It simply implies an exam for detecting abnormalities or changes in the rectum and the large intestine.
- Companies and organizations got into payment agreements that incorporated performance and financial accountability for care episodes under the initiative—the models aimed at improving the care and quality coordination at a lower cost. In relation to the current article, the CMS bundled payment initiative seeks to increase the care and quality coordination at a lower price.
- In this case, the insurance bundle will help in saving a certain amount of mine. Getting off one free colonoscopy every five years and one free mammogram yearly will change the insurance plans by opting for the offered insurance bundles.
- Bundled pricing being offered by facilities is better than having a universal and established consumer price index. The bundled pricing will act as a target to customers by providing multi-line discounts. Additionally, it will help the customers save almost 10% compared to having an established and universal consumer price index.

- To the poor, they provide for free. The profits which pay property taxes and income provide uncompensated care as much as not-for-profits do. Additionally, much free care is mandatory.
- The list prices assist the community in determining the cost of tax exemption, which is possible through tax revenue.
- Apart from paying for income and property taxes by the For-profit hospitals while non-profit hospitals do not, there is still a significant difference between the two. Unlike non-profit hospitals, for-profit hospitals are answerable to the shareholders whose interests might differ from those of the local communities.
- Dearing in mind the scam for avoiding to pay taxes, it would be advisable for the city to tax the hospital and alternatively pay for charity care. In so doing, the value of the hospital to the city would be better felt. And there would not exist a chance for avoiding the taxes.
- Exemption of taxes cannot be termed as a better way of encouraging private organizations to serve the public’s interests since the private organization requires to stay in business. Additionally, the organization might be answerable to the shareholders whose interests are different from those of the community and the public.
- The board of assessors could clear any queries concerning the merits of the status. By so doing, it would mean that they would determine whether the hospital was on the right track or not. This is by either recommending the exemption of the taxes for the organization or advocating for the organization’s taxes.
