Project constraints

As established by KK, a project proposal is a document that simplifies a professional relationship between an organization and outside contributors. Naturally, a project proposal is an initial framework for establishing the concept of the project and includes what an organization wants to accomplish, an explanation of objectives as well as plans aimed to be achieved. In addition to that, it includes all the tasks associated with the project more so clarifies the importance of this specific project idea as well as explains the origins of this project. In addition to that, it establishes project visibility that provides a road map on how the project’s objectives will be achieved at the end of the anticipated time. The aim of this project is to prepare my ideal graduation ceremony that will be held next year. I will involve various a numbers of individuals who will assist me in planning the event they will include the project team, steering committee as well as the suppliers who will supply the event with the required resources. In addition to that, I will have to formulate a work breakdown structure that will enable me to analyze as well as allocate the tasks to respective team members. Also, we will develop a budget that will assist in proper allocation of the resources and finally risk management criteria that will help me to mitigate any risk that emerged within the course of the project.

2.0 Project constraints

KK points out that project constraint is all factors that dictate or restrict the actions of the project team. According to KK, constraints define a project’s limitations, which include scope, cost, and time. However, this graduation project is affected by the three constraints identified above that is time, scope as well as cost. The cost constraint of the project is $50,000 dollars. Therefore, the project is limited to this budget; hence all the resources, as well as activities are done, will be within the budget provided by the project sponsor. Secondly, the project time constraint is a period one year, since graduation will be held on 15th May 2021. Hence all the tasks, as well as resources, will be gathered within this time limit. Finally, the scope of my project will involve all the tasks expected to be carried out in order for the project to accomplish its objectives. The objective of the project is to hold ideal graduation; therefore, the scope of the project will involve completing all the tasks specified in the work breakdown structure.
