Question one

                     Conviction means that one has been found guilty of a crime by the court. It is the verdict which occurs when the law court finds a perpetrator guilty of the crime. The following are ethical Dilemmas that universities are likely to face when they accept the donations from a convicted criminal: How to ensure there is impartiality, that is, the university faces the dilemma of balancing the donations provided. The major challenge occurs because the gifts were not genuine since the criminal donated it. Second, it faces the difficulties of determining the necessary funds of force that should be used to reeducate suspects’ arresting. University faces the dilemma of whether to use donations or return to the government or look for the owner. Since the suspect is proven guilty, might have taken the contributions from different institutes and donated them to University, there is a need for the university to return the donations to the owner or give it to the government.

Question two:

If I were part of the university management that received over $9m from the criminal, I would make the right decision to return the donations. With the position , I will be holding in University and the knowledge of how university management trains employees. I will be honest and trustworthy by not allowing this donation to be used in our University. Further, I will hold the meeting with the entire management and let them know the negative impacts that such contributions received from a criminal can ruin the university’s performance and make many people lose trust in our University. Generally, I will be honest and truthful by returning the money to the owner, encouraging others to be honest in their respective departments.
