He is in his final year of study, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics. His performance is exemplary good as his transcripts can evidence it. - Leadership
As evidenced by his school living certificates, Mr. Muruu was once a leader at both his primary and high school. He served as a deputy governor in primary school during his final year of study. At his high school, Lenana School, he was also selected by the school principal to serve as a school prefect. He has persistently continued to show his leadership skills even at the university level. He is always ready to support and guide others in both academic and curriculum activities. He is one who believes that everyone can be great because everyone can serve. - Reconciliation
There is a time when the students at Egerton University were organizing a major strike. I remember Mr. Muruu is among those few students who decided to sit down with the school administration and sought to discuss amicable solutions to save his fellow students from destroying the school property and, after that keeping them from surcharge fees. Their meeting bore fruits, and a settlement over the matter was found. He values human life. He is a committed Christian who believes that our common humanity is more important than our inevitable differences.
- Education
Mr. Muruu has always loved education and its values. His performance has been exemplary well since his primary school level. It is as a result of his hard work that he earned a place at a national school in Kenya. He performed well and won a seat at our University. While at our University, he has been organizing academic group discussions with his fellow students. He has continued to perform well, and we trust that he is going to graduate with first-class honors. His performance has been persistent exemplary since his early years.
- Entrepreneurship
Mr. Muruu has been selling fruits and eggs to his fellow students during his free time at school, mainly to sustain his basic needs.
